Our Mission
The mission of Magic of Literacy is to inspire curiosity and foster a love for literature in the greater Chattanooga area by donating books and hosting literacy-related events.
Elementa: A Fantasy Ball
We're throwing a ball! Help us launch this new non profit by attending Elementa: A Fantasy Ball on May 2nd from 6-10 p.m. at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
Step into the Elementa Realm for an evening of revelry with a fantasy DJ, magical cirque performers, curated vendors, cosplayers, themed spirits and menu, silent auction, flash tattoos, and much more!

Our flagship event, Magic of Literacy, will be on October 24th at the Chattanooga Choo Choo! This family friendly event is an entirely free experience to our community that brings reading to life. Attended by thousands, Magic of Literacy features fire dancers, cosplayers, crafters, and local businesses. Bring the entire family to experience the magic of books and reading. Every child leaves with a free book!
